This is an asynchronous session. Work-Based Learning (WBL) experiences are at the heart of the Virginia Profile of a Graduate and provide career and technical education students with valuable experiences that are an extension of the classroom environment and that complement content knowledge, workplace skills, and career planning. This asynchronous presentation will outline the four WBL competencies included all middle and high school CTE courses. At the conclusion of the training, LCPS CTE teachers will be able to identify the role of the classroom teacher as it relates to the instruction of WBL competencies and visualize potential WBL experiences that could be integrated inside and outside of their classrooms.
